As a school, all teachers, staff and students take a lot of pride in celebrating the diverse backgrounds, languages and cultures of all our students. We warmly welcome all international students that are interested in attending our school and look forward to developing a positive relationship with families.
International Enrolment Information

In accordance with the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2021, Te Kura o Manunui requires that all long term (studying for one term or more) International Students live with their parent/s or a legal guardian.

If you have decided to apply for a place at Te Kura o Manunui then this is the process to follow:
1. Submit the following:
A completed application form and Tuition agreement
A photocopy of the student’s passport and visa details
A photocopy of the parent’s passport and visa details
A recent photograph of the student
Vaccine certificate for the student – translated into English
2 Certified school reports and references from the student's current school
Evidence of medical and travel insurance
Verification of address, accommodation and parents’ details
2. If your child is enrolling from another school in New Zealand and is transferring to Te Kura o Manunui, please also submit:
A written letter that states that Te Kura o Manunui has permission to contact their previous school. (This ensures that we are conforming with the Privacy Act)
3. Te Kura o Manunui will then verify the following documents:
Application Form
Passport
Address, accommodation, and parents’ details
4. Verbal/email confirmation will be made by the school that a place is available at Te Kura o Manunui.
5. The school will provide you with an invoice outlining the administration fee, registration fee, and school tuition fees.
6. The school will also provide you with an Offer of Place Form which you need to
forward onto the Immigration Department of New Zealand with the offer of a place at
Te Kura o Manunui. This offer is conditional upon the payment of the international student course fee.
7. You will then pay the relevant administration fee, registration fee, and school tuition fees.
8. When we receive the fees, we will email an official receipt.
9. Parents/students must provide additional information as requested by the Immigration Department of New Zealand to obtain a student (or visitor) visa.
10. As soon as the student or visitor visa (as applicable) has been issued with the relevant details, students may complete enrolment at Te Kura o Manunui.
11. All International Students are required to hold current medical and travel insurance. It is the responsibility of the student and/or their caregivers to ensure this insurance is in place and to provide the school with a copy of the current policy.
12. If your circumstances change once fees are paid, and you do not arrive in New Zealand, we will refund the annual tuition fees and all other payments made, less the administration and registration fees.

Fee Structure 2025
All fees are shown in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and are GST inclusive. The fees for International students to attend Te Kura o Manunui are as follows:
Long Term Fees
Annual Tuition (Full Year – 4 Terms): $13,000
Registration Fee (non-refundable, payable once): $250
Administration Fee (non-refundable): $250
If a student is enrolled for less than 4 terms, the fees are as follows:
1 Term
Tuition: $3,250
Registration Fee: $150
Administration Fee: $150
2 Terms
Tuition: $6,500
Registration Fee: $150
Administration Fee: $150
3 Terms
Tuition: $9,750
Registration Fee: $200
Administration Fee: $200
Short-Term Fees (1–6 weeks)
Tuition: $500 per week
Registration Fee: $150
Administration Fee: $150
Upon full or part-payment of fees, the school issues a receipt that can be forwarded to Immigration New Zealand in support of an application for a student visa. Students intending on studying for 1-6 weeks may attend on either a visitor’s visa or a student visa.
Stationery is included in the payment of fees.
